So much has happened in the last two weeks. Let me just go right on to it and tell you everything. We promised you that we would cover the White Party for you. Well, if you were not here for the White Party at Rich's, you missed a real good one. So please enjoy the pictures for, after all, a picture is worth a thousand words....

The past weekend was a wild one with two major pageants: at Inergy, Miss Gay Southeast Texas America and, at EJ's, Miss EJ's. The results are as follows: Miss Gay Southeast Texas America (Ashley Houston), First runner-up (China Doll).; these two are heading to Miss Texas America, and I have heard that it might be held here in Houston); Miss EJ's (Christina Ross) and first runner-up (Alicia Houston). Also, a week before, Mr. EJ's was held and the winner is Steven Baker. Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who took the time to enter these Pageants. It takes alot of guts!!

Speaking of EJ, let me introduce to you a little club where most drag queens begin. I think of it as a house of entertainment or LaCage of Houston. This club is where I began my drag life a few years ago. It was a real thrill for me. Before becoming a professional entertainer, I started as an amatuer. EJ's is located in the Montrose area at 2517 Ralph. At EJ, you can find more than just drag shows and male strip contests. They also do lots of good things to help out the Gay community, like doing benefit shows to raise money for the AIDS Foundation. Here are some of things going on at EJ: Mon. and Fri. there is a strip contest hosted by Paivi Lee Love. Tues. and Thurs. it'sTalent Night hosted by Roxanne (you want to see Tina Turner? Come out and see this girl!! And let me tell you, she is HOT!). If you can sing, dance, hop or can do anything unusual, try out. You may be the next star of the evening. Last but not least is their Saturday Night Show-the biggest night of the week. The show cast includes Dyan Michael, Roxanne, Paivi Le Love, and the one and only Lana Blake. So drop by and say hello to everyone.
