AUSTIN, TEXAS

Tales of Steers and Queers from Texas

Holiday Greetings, Ambush worldwide readers, and welcome to the first column from the Capital City of the Lone Star State-Texas, known as AUSTIN. Home of the University of Texas, the world famous Congress Street Bridge Urban Bat Colony, The Famous 6Th Street, Hippie Hollow at Lake Travis where beefy men swim nude as well as a mass growing Mecca of companies in the computer industry, Austin is known as "Silicon Hills". As for our great state of Texas, the Native Indians had once coined the state, "Tejas", which settlers found the meaning as friendly. If you ever experienced a Texan, you will know that the men and yes, the women, are very friendly and are always horny. It has been said that there are only two things that come from Texas, either steers or queers. Well aren't we lucky, we have them both!

Since this is the first column from Texas, let me introduce you around my city to some of our great watering holes and places of interest in Austin for our Gay and Lesbian Family. Austin's Life hosts more than just the clubs;however, for this column, let's focus on its nightlife.
