Sat. night the show was held at Gary's Coachhouse in Brownsvlle, featuring the strippers and Sweet Savage, Chanel and Tanya Lee. Free shuttle buses were provided. It was packed there and it was packed here too. Sun. the party switched to Parrot Eyes Bar and Grill on the bay. There was free banana boat rides and boat cruises. Lots of fun and music and dancing also. There were two shows - one at 7pm and the other at 11pm. All three nights and days were quite festive. Some of the new faces were Jim from Wisconsin. And Craig and Jack were here from Arkansas. Plus loads of people from all over the Valley and others I didn't happen to meet. All in all we had a great time. We'd like to thank all who participated and helped make it the succes it was. Until next time have fun and be safe.

Houston's BCBC Jungle X
Raises $48,000 for Charities

Houston's Bayou City Boys Club, Inc.'s Jungle X, the tenth anniversary edition of Houston's premier dance party, broke all records for attendance and funds raised recently. Over 1,500 people passed through the tunnel of light into a world transformed by one of the most spectacular laser and light displays ever seen in Houston.

Renowned circuit DJ Warren Gluck spun a high-energy mix spiced with just a splash of tribal beat that kept the boys dancing until the wee hours of Easter morning.

Jungle's new and larger venue, Trading Fair II, provided a spacious, urban look and feel to the party and was an instant hit with guests.

A record $48,000 will be distributed directly to the beneficiaries of Jungle X and represents 160% of this year's fund-raising goal. This amount includes all of the proceeds from ticket sales from the main event, as well as a percentage of the door receipts from each of the other Jungle weekend events produced by local clubs and promoters.

BCBC is especially proud of achieving record levels of fund-raising at a time when economic challenges have created a very difficult environment for raising money. As in the past, the cost of the party was completely underwritten, allowing the organization to donate all of the proceeds from ticket sales. BCBC is especially thankful to the individual underwriters, corporate sponsors and supporters who came through with record support and made this achievement possible. Local organizations benefiting from this year's event include Casa de Esperanza, AIDS Foundation Houston Gay Men's Health Initiative, Center for AIDS, Montrose Clinic Next, Step Program, Steven's House, PWA Coalition, WAM Foundation.

BCBC is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization whose mission is to raise money for Houston area HIV/AIDS service providers, research and education. For more information, contact Mike Collins at 713.758.4488 or visit the BCBC Web site at bayoucityboysclub.org.
